Our capabilities include primary and secondary injection testing, relay calibration, functional testing, relay settings verification, apparatus testing, Substation Automation System (SAS) commissioning, and end-to-end communications-aided protection testing for greenfield and brownfield substation projects.

Our construction teams support site preparation, excavation, grounding, equipment installation, cable systems, structural work, station service installation, and testing activities across voltage classes from 13.8 kV to 500 kV.

BIC Electric provides substation fiber optic services for multimode and single-mode fiber networks within transmission and distribution substations, including installation, routing, termination, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and integration with critical station systems.

BIC Electric provides substation communication services that support reliable data exchange, system visibility, remote access, SCADA integration, automation, and protection functions. Our team installs, wires, configures, and tests communication circuits and equipment used to exchange telemetry and operational data with relays, meters, SAS, RTUs, HMIs, and other intelligent electronic devices.
We work with a variety of vendor platforms, including SEL, Novatech, and other substation communication and automation technologies.
