Scope of Work

BIC provided P&C testing and commissioning services to FPL for upgrading the protection scheme for two, 55MVA 138KV/13.8KV power transformers to the transmission and distribution power grids. P&C services included relay settings implementation, relay testing, field apparatus testing, field operational checks, SCADA (RTU) and telecommunications for the power transformers and feeder breakers.
